homegrown Vitreous silicais

Description

i grew this glassplant (Vitreous silicais) at home in my own kiln, after germinating in the school's kiln....
this was a highly experimental multi-layered fuse/slump that broke a warm glass rule or 2 but worked quite well (mostly)
i'm very happy with the results overall, and the one aspect that didn't work quite right lead to a new solution that i think i like even better
strips fused into spike-burst, frit-gel drawing fused onto 4 seperate leaf-pairs, then fiber-blanket + thinfile shaped and stacked w/ the glass for a multi-layered free-form slump mold, with the final fusing and slumping done at once.
